Dans la continuité de la série, et c'est la tout le problème. On prend le même schéma et on recommence, ce qui fait que le film n'a aucune réelle incidence sur la trame principale. C'est dommage pour un film qui se veut être une suite directe.

De plus, le développement de Mary est rushé au possible, passant de nouvelle recrue à machine à tuer en 30 minutes de film sans aucune explication satisfaisante.

Coté réalisation, c'est le calme plat, c'est au même niveau que la série excepté une seule scène qui est au-dessus de la moyenne. Bien que ça reste correcte dans l'ensemble, c'est très décevant pour un film.
